Mustang BULLITT Edition

The new Mustang BULLITT Edition revived one of the most iconic cars in American film history, a modern interpretation of the Highland Green fastback driven by Steve McQueen in Bullitt.

Rather than relying on overt nostalgia, the special edition leaned into heritage and performance with understated design cues, minimal badging, and an analog motif driving experience that echoed the original’s attitude and legacy.

I collaborated on Ford’s Mustang BULLITT Edition campaign, supporting lighting execution and refining the final image color, tone, and visual finish alongside Wieden+Kennedy, photographer/director Roy Ritchie, and Gravy Productions.

The visual approach emphasized mood and materiality, shaping imagery that felt cinematic, controlled, and unmistakably cool while honoring the car’s legacy.

The campaign appeared across billboards and broader OOH placements, digital and social, and Ford’s website, extending the BULLITT’s presence from the street to the screen.
