Visual Content Director &
Art Director
Hey. Here are a few things about my work.
I have strong opinions about aspect ratios.
I once had a 40-minute conversation about whether a chair was "too happy."
I think mood boards are a form of religion.
My Pinterest is more organized than most people finances.
Most projects I work on start with someone saying "we just need something quick."
I once described a color grade as "Instagram 2012” and everyone in the room aged five years simultaneously.
I get paid to have feelings about light.
Everything communicates. My job is to make sure it's saying the right thing.
A good image does the talking before anyone has to.
And here are a few things about me.
I lived a great deal of time in Colorado, then Texas, and California. Recently uprooted and replanted in the green and lovely Seattle area. I'm still figuring out the fishing here.
I love my garage. It’s where I build my projects. Some of them are finished.
My backyard raccoon family members are named Kyle, Ashley, Chris, Big Mama, Big Daddy, Little Buddy, and Big Boy. I plan to start an energy drink line with their names as different flavors.
I have fond memories of camping the great Texas Gulf Coast, a fire on the beach, and eating fish for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A little sand is good for you. You know the old man from ‘The Old Man and the Sea’?, my hero, probably.
I LOVE lists.
