Face the STEM Gap - Women in STEM
Rather than running conventional ads, the brand published the first beauty advertisements written entirely in code — strings of if/then logic and encrypted characters that readers were invited to decipher — released on Women's Equality Day and featuring real female STEM professionals in place of models.
The campaign ran across digital and social channels and appeared in print in The New York Times, Harper's Bazaar, and Allure.
I served as San Francisco Director of Photography, collaborating with director Sarah Silver and producer Christine Busby, and Saatchi & Saatchi NY to bring the campaign to life across stills and film.
Face the STEM Gap was recognized with a D&AD Pencil Award.
